Art trail piece created by city's youth unveiled

The tribute to the city's industrial heritage has been put up on the Millennium City Building

A arts trail piece created by young people has been unveiled.

A Glance Back Down the Hoss Road pays homage to Wolverhampton's industrial heritage and has been installed on the Millennium City Building.

Created by artist Sam Wootton with the help of young creatives, the piece has been designed to blend the city's Anglo‑Saxon origins with Art Deco architecture.

The installation marks the sixth addition to the city centre's Visual Arts Trail, with three more artworks scheduled within the next few months.

"The artists and participants have created bold and dramatic pieces of work that showcases the talent and creativity that we have within Wolverhampton and the Black Country, " Lindsey Chambers, the University of Wolverhampton's head of school of social science, humanities and creative industries said.
