Visitor numbers have increased over the last year
Visitors who came to Guernsey in 2025 are more likely to recommend the island to family or friends compared to previous years.
The Guernsey Travel and Visitor Accommodation Bulletin revealed that since 2023 the number of recommendations has increased with 2025 being an all-time high.
Some of the visitor comments mentioned it was a "peaceful and lovely place to visit" and had a "reliable bus service".
The report also revealed the total number of visitors that stayed in Guernsey for more than one night had also increased compared to 2024.
Alongside an increase in visitors, the number of passengers has also increased from late 2024 to late 2025.
Including ferry, yacht and plane, passengers departing Guernsey increased by nearly 10%.
The data revealed the most popular mode of transport for passengers was plane and remained steady during 2025.

Figures showed there were more day trip visitors, who travelled by plane or ferry compared to the same time in the previous year.
With nearly half of these day trip visitors coming to see family and friends, there was a 30% increase in 2025.
The majority of all the visitors who were coming to Guernsey (day trip and overnight) were from France.
Visitors from France has increased by over 60% compared to 2024.
