Gavin and Stacey star Joanna Page spoke to Fearne Cotton on her podcast Happy Place
It might have happened 25 years ago - but Gavin and Stacey star Joanna Page is still reeling from a mortifying moment on set with Johnny Depp.
The 48-year-old was speaking to Fearne Cotton on the broadcaster's podcast Happy Place about her memories of working on Hollywood films.
She also discussed balancing her demanding career with being a parent.
The Swansea-born actor further revealed an unforgettably embarrassing moment with her A-list co-star on the 2001 film From Hell.
Page was playing the role of prostitute Ann Cook in the film, which was based on the Jack the Ripper murders.
She said in the scene, she had just had a lobotomy and was wearing a bald cap and white contact lenses.
The actor recalled squatting down on the floor and getting into character when she suddenly passed wind in front of Depp, who was playing lead investigator Fredrick Abberline.
"Suddenly I farted and it was a silent but deadly because it didn't make a noise [and Depp said], 'oh my god who's farted'."
Page said she was mortified and instead of owning up, she looked around and said "oh, who's done that?"
She added: "I should have just gone - me! I'm acting like I've had a lobotomy, sorry guys, I've just farted."

Page might have felt she couldn't own up to her faux pas because upon meeting Depp, she was "shocked" by his beauty.
"He was so good looking I just couldn't talk to him," she told Cotton.
"I just remember thinking he's got hair like Jennifer Aniston - this hazelnut colour hair with these beautiful blonde streaks.
"He was really sweet and really lovely."
Page also discussed her time filming the 2003 hit romcom Love Actually.
She confessed to having only watched it once prior to seeing it again at Christmas in 2024.
"It genuinely made me feel like there was love all around."
On balancing her career with being a mum, she added: "I'm a actress, you don't say no to a job, you say yes to everything."
